Static Noise: The Photographs of Rhona Bitner

Contemporary photographer Rhona Bitner recognizes both the stage and the camera lens as apertures through which the world is interpreted and recorded. Bringing the camera to the spectacle of audiences, circuses, clowns, stages, and recording studios, her work captures the traces of fleeting performances, highlighting the tension between presence and absence.
